Â鶹ֱ²¥Â SEEKS VOLUNTEERS FOR HONORS & AWARDS COMMITTEE
The Honors and Awards Committee is an Â鶹ֱ²¥ standing committee with a three-year opening for one new member. Â鶹ֱ²¥ invites nominations, including self-nominations, from Â鶹ֱ²¥ members who are interested in being considered by the committee for this opening.
The Honors and Awards Committee is currently chaired by Laura Mazow. The Â鶹ֱ²¥ Bylaws state: This committee [Honors and Awards] will oversee all Â鶹ֱ²¥ honors. As the name suggests, this committee oversees Â鶹ֱ²¥â€™s efforts to recognize and reward individuals who have demonstrated notable service to the organization, as well as those who have produced exceptional recent scholarship (books and posters).
To ensure balanced representation of different sub-fields within the committee, preference will be given to individuals who complement the committee makeup.
