Scope and Contents
Series 1. Documents describes the excavation, artifacts discovered at the site, and the division of the artifacts between Â鶹ֱ²¥, the Palestine Archaeological Museum, and the Jordan Archaeological Museum. The collection also contains publications about Khirbet et Tannur. The original box numbers have been maintained. The first box in Series 1 is Box 5. The second box in this series is Box 6.
Series 2. Artifacts contains Â鶹ֱ²¥’s portion of the excavated artifacts, with the exception of artifacts and sculptures which have been transferred to the Cincinnati Art Museum.
Series 3. Photographs documents artifacts in situ and in a studio setting. The majority of the photos were taken by Nelson Glueck and S.J. Schweig.
