The American Society of Overseas Research in Canada (C�鶹ֱ��) includes all individual members of the American Society of Overseas Research (�鶹ֱ��) who live in Canada. It was incorporated federally on October 3, 1990, as a non-share capital corporation and registered as a charity by Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (Income Tax registration number BN 891631269RR0001). C�鶹ֱ�� was established to promote the archaeology of the Near East in Canada, to support �鶹ֱ�� programs in Canada, and to provide funding from Canadian citizens, institutions, and organizations to �鶹ֱ�� for its overseas institutions which are used by qualified and approved Canadian scholars undertaking research fellowships at any of these overseas institutions. From time to time, C�鶹ֱ�� also sponsors or contributes to symposia and conferences that are of interest to its members.

C�鶹ֱ�� is pleased to announce the creation of a Student Scholarship program to support undergraduate students participating in archaeological field projects in the Near East.

C�鶹ֱ��’s stipulate that the organization be run by a Board of Directors elected by the members and headed by four Officers. Clifford Goldfarb of serves as C�鶹ֱ��’s pro-bono legal counsel. Annual meetings of members and directors are held in conjunction with the �鶹ֱ�� Annual Meeting.

Donations are always welcome, and donors will be issued with a charitable tax receipt. Please indicate if you wish your donation to be applied towards a specific program, fundraiser or �鶹ֱ�� overseas institution. Cheques or money orders (payable to “C�鶹ֱ��”) can be sent to:

Il a été incorporée au niveau fédéral le 3 octobre, 1990 à titre de société sans capital-actions et a été enregistré comme charité par l’Agence des douanes et du revenue du Canada (numéro d’enregistrement des impôts BN 891631269RR0001). C�鶹ֱ�� a été créée pour promouvoir l’archéologie du Proche-Orient au Canada, pour supporter les programmes d’�鶹ֱ�� au Canada, et pour fournir les fonds recueillis des citoyens, organismes, et institutions canadiennes à l’�鶹ֱ�� pour ses institutions à l’étranger, fonds qui seront par la suite utiliser par des chercheurs canadiens qualifiés et approuvés détenant des bourses de recherche dans ses institutions à l’étranger. De temps à autre, C�鶹ֱ�� parraine ou contribue à des colloques ou conférences qui intéressent ses membres.

C�鶹ֱ�� est fière d’annoncer l’instauration d’une bourse d’études qui a pour but d’assister les étudiants à la license qui désirent participer à des projets archéologiques dans le Proche-Orient.

Les ��é�����𳾱�Գٲ� du C�鶹ֱ�� stipulent que l’organisme doit être géré par un conseil d’administration élu par les membres et dirigé par quatres officiers. Clifford Goldfarb de agit à titre d’avocat “pro-bono” pour C�鶹ֱ��. Les réunions annuelles des membres et du conseil d’administration se tiennent conjointement avec la réunion annuelle d’�鶹ֱ��.
