2026 EARLY CAREER SCHOLARS COMMITTEE
The Early Career Scholars Committee takes responsibility for championing the views and needs of Â鶹ֱ²¥â€™s early career scholars (a group defined as including all Â鶹ֱ²¥ members who qualify for the Undergraduate, Graduate, and Early Career membership rates); hosting a luncheon and other programming as deemed appropriate for Early Career Scholars at the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Annual Meeting; and working with the Â鶹ֱ²¥ staff, Â鶹ֱ²¥ leadership, and the Â鶹ֱ²¥ Board of Trustees to further the goal articulated in the Â鶹ֱ²¥ 2021-2025 Strategic Plan, to develop strategies to foster the next generation of scholars of the Near East and wider Mediterranean and promote their success. Â鶹ֱ²¥ Early Career Scholars include all Â鶹ֱ²¥ members who qualify for the following levels of membership: Early Career, Graduate, and Undergraduate.
